one of my favorite things in my business is seeing, through my camera, kids growing up (usually so fast!). Here is what i mean, i couldn’t believe it when i stepped in the house, that this little baby is now this handsome boy, he is such a card, a lovely boy, and without a doubt a very special part of the family.

Once again it was a pleasure to photograph the simmons, this time i got to meet carlos, who wasn’t  around on my past visits, he is a very kind, down-to-earth (and handsome) guy, nice meeting you carlos, hope you like your pictures, later you’ll see the one with your new car. for now here are some of my favorites from that afternoon. enjoy them!

lily has the most spontaneous, happy and sweet personality of a girl of her age that i’ve ever seen.  she was so comfortable in front of the camera, and with me, that it seemed like we knew each other for years.  when we said good bye she gave me a big and sincere hug…that stole my heart forever. i also have to mention that she is a very lucky girl, she belongs to the one of most loving families i’ve have had the please to work with, they were so amazing throughout the whole session it was easy to capture their love with my camera (i’m sure you will agree with me). anthony is her brother, he is a very centered and very, very kind guy who is 15 years older than lily, and as you can tell is a musician.

i can’t say enough about the jordans. the love that they show for each other, their well behaved kids and their kindness is what touched me the most….here i leave you with some of my favs from that afternoon.

i would photograph this family every day…

this is a very out-of-the-ordinary shooting for me, it is actually the first time i have covered an event like this, i had a lot of fun… this was gina’s prom night, her family organized a dinner for her and 38 friends before they went to the prom party–i know amazing parents!  it was a great party!  the kids all met and got on a huge bus that took them to the simmon’s house where we were all waiting, everyone ate and hung out and then the bus took them to the prom!   well, i don’t want to write to much more, let me instead show you what i captured that evening..

tammy did an amazing job putting everything together and decorating the whole place…

remember  jack, the cute  little man, a couple of posts down? gina is his oldest sister and last saturday i went over  to their house to photograph her on prom night, well, right before she and will, her handsome boyfriend, left for the party, it was a last minute call but a great session, one of those that just go perfectly, she is not only a beautiful and very sweet chick but also very self confident, didn’t even need the warm up time in front of the camera, it was just very relaxed and natural, you’ll see it in the pictures, she and will are such a cute couple that made my work so easy, except for the fact that they are so tall, i should have worn my high heels that day … thanks guys, i hope you had a great night!

what a fun session!… Avery, Caroline and Molly are 3 kind, fun and beautiful girls who I had the pleasure to photograph last week. eventhough they are very different from each other they  get along fantastically, like I have never seen before, and like I hope my kids will be as they grow up. it was a session full of hugs and kisses, laughs and cuddling, it made me want to have a sister, and believe me, I never missed that before……mom and dad are super laid-back…loved it!  dad was my assistant for the day, (thanks Rick, you did great I owe you a beer!)…. well girls here you have a sneak peek of the session, and contrary to what some of you thought, you look gorgeous (I told you, you would). see you soon!
