i have this thing i love to do with my kids, i record mini-interviews with them, i ask random questions that they, with their little, fascinating minds respond to in such cute ways, every time .

their answers fill my heart with joy.

so i thought it’d be a great thing to do with my clients and post it on my blog

The Barwick’s are one of the sweetest families i have ever met and one of the most popular on this blog (you can see them here, here, here & here).

Here’s the mini interview with Devin, their handsome boy. enjoy

Hanna is happy, she is happy ALL the time, she is comfortable in any situation and with everyone , she looks right into your eyes and smiles. during our session she was just learning how to walk and fell, hurt herself and cried, but just for a moment because she had to get back to her “happy mode”.

there is no interview with hanna, yet, so i’ll tell you few random things about her:

she is 1

has a brother that loves her and shows it.

she can stand on her big toe better than any professional ballerina.

her grace has made the Barwick home a perfect place.

she can be bribed with little fruit puffs.

she is absolutely adorable

Shay and Josh, meeting you and working with you throughout these years has been a GREAT pleasure, you better keep having babies, so i keep capturing these beautiful memories for you.

i love these two.

we love these two here in “wellsville”

i love to photograph them.

their mother  is one of my dearest friends, one of the best i’ve ever had.

they are my kids bff’s, with just a few months apart in age and a few blocks from our place, the 4 have grown up together since they were babies.

she is super sporty, he can claim trees like a pro

they spend every summer in spain in this gorgeous place that their grandparents own.

they are also half-latin half- anglo, that makes a special bond betwen us.

for those who visit my blog often, you know that these little faces (well, 2 are not so little anymore) are regulars around here, and around our house too … this time we introduce a new little one, who came unexpectedly and has delighted us all, his name is alex, he is 5-months old and like his big brother, he hit the lottery with those fantastic blue eyes…

rachel and jose and their party of 5 joined us for the StudioMini sessions event we threw 2 weeks ago as part of our new “Studio-PhotoShoot” offering, these sessions take place at this AMAZING photo studio near downtown greensboro, and the kids seem to love it as much as the adults! you’ll see why.

dear villalbas thank you all for making it so easy and so fun for me. working with you is ALWAYS a pleasure.

Carter is an ADORABLE baby, honestly he is one of those babies you would love to take home with you after the photo-session is finished, ashley, his mother, was worried that he wouldn’t be in his best mood since we scheduled the session during his cranky time of the day…well, here is how he welcomed me (a total stranger with a big black thing in her hands pointing it right in his face)…

these are a few of his favorite things (so far)…

“books”, not only does he enjoy books, but he already has his favorites and when he’s being read to, he pays absolute attention and flips the pages himself when he is ready for the next one, like a little man.

“twinkle twinkle little star”, good that i had mastered this song with my children, because it was a hit and made carter smile like this…

“snack time”, of course, who doesn’t right?

and last but not least, “mommy and daddy”…

ashley and scott, you have such a sweet and beautiful baby boy. thanks very much for all your kindness, it was great meeting you all.

my sophie is in the 3-year olds class at a great pre-school here in greensboro, alison (together with mrs rosemary) is her teacher and i’m SO HAPPY i take my little girl every morning and leave her in this woman’s hands, she is wonderful, she is one of those women every girl would want to be friends with, ALWAYS with a great smile, always with something nice to say, has a great, positive vibe (plus she is beautiful and effortlessly stylish), so when she asked me to photograph her family i was beyond thrilled. i have to say that working with them was a treat and a pleasure.

…and she is so precious and such a fun kid to work with and to be around and i can’t believe time has passed so fast.  if you know me, you know i love this girl, she  has literally grown in from of my lens, what can i do . this time we did a beach session and we had a blast, but i do not want to type too much becuase stephanie has been waiting for this way too long.

stepahie, mitchell and gaby, it was once again a super pleasure seeing you all, thanks for the trust and the 3 1/2 hour drive to do this session. here are some of my favs.

one of my favorite things in my business is seeing, through my camera, kids growing up (usually so fast!). Here is what i mean, i couldn’t believe it when i stepped in the house, that this little baby is now this handsome boy, he is such a card, a lovely boy, and without a doubt a very special part of the family.

Once again it was a pleasure to photograph the simmons, this time i got to meet carlos, who wasn’t  around on my past visits, he is a very kind, down-to-earth (and handsome) guy, nice meeting you carlos, hope you like your pictures, later you’ll see the one with your new car. for now here are some of my favorites from that afternoon. enjoy them!

viva la vida with boys…….

i love you luca. this is for you.

this is a post that has been waiting on my desk for a long time (long, long time), between summer outings, sessions, retouching, 2 kids under 4 and no summer camps i just didn’t have much time to devote to it.  then came school, kids b-day parties, halloween, vacation, new sessions and more new sessions (thank god), this post remained on my to-do list for my complete attention. i want to apologize to all of the great people we had the pleasure to meet in that event for waiting so patiently for this post, especially to our gracious hosts!

i have to explain to those of you that follow my blog that mick and i were invited by this great guy named allyn and his beautiful and very kind girl helyn, last april to be part of a 3 day derby event in kentucky. it was such a great experience, from the moment we arrived to the moment we said good-bye.  it was one of those magical times when the people you met, the environment you were in, and the experience itself becomes a lasting memory!

the rossatos, there is an endless list of the good things i can say about them, but i will make it short because i know they are anxious to see this sneak peek of their session…

they are TERRIFIC neighbors

they make beautiful kids (at least we have the proof of one)

they make great “asados”

they have a great sense of humor.

one of them have a mother we want to steal.

they all wear TOMS.

they, like us, are a bicultural family.

they beat us in corn-whole.

we beat them in getting the trash out on Sunday nights

we all hope argentina wins the next world cup.

they are our dear friends.
