welcome to my blog. this is a place where you can come to know a little bit more about me and the pure joy i get from being a photographer. babies, children, teens, maternity and family, (plus anything else that catches my attention) are my favorite subjects. i'm a Greensboro NC photographer that also covers Hight Point, Winston Salem, Charlotte and Raleigh areas.

i’m so pleased to start my year posting my session with the “super cool” dunlops. lola is one of sophie’s bff’s from school and lori (her mom) is also one of my fav moms from her class, so i was so happy to have the chance to work with them, well really it was not work, for me it was more like having a drink with friends while photographing them around, the girls play so well together and are both such fun kids, they weren’t shy with me for one second, especially josie who LOVES to pose for the camera, lori and joe have a great chemistry which is always so refreshing to witness,  plus they have the 2 most beautiful dogs i have ever seen… i really like this family, i want to hug them every time i see them.

hanna is the gorgeous new baby girl at the barwick’s house, they are regulars already on my blog, i love when i post their pictures because ALL of their family comes to visit my blog and leaves sweet messages,  that totally makes my day, i’m sure you remember them form here and here… well, here is hanna, she  is SO So cute, preciously teeny tiny little creature, everything on her is perfect and tiny, her nose, her toes, her ears, her hands, awww,  when i held her, for few seconds i wanted to keep her, then i remembered that she’s still waking up several times in the middle of the night, so i changed my mind but i will come back in 6 months… she is just adorable, so is my big boy devin, last time i saw him he was just starting to walk, now he loves soccer and is a total champion golfer, i’m not exaggerating that, you would be totally amazed at how this kid golfs (good for you josh, next time i see you, you’ll have nail polish on your fingernails)…

here you are my sweetheart, you are just perfect!…

Carter is an ADORABLE baby, honestly he is one of those babies you would love to take home with you after the photo-session is finished, ashley, his mother, was worried that he wouldn’t be in his best mood since we scheduled the session during his cranky time of the day…well, here is how he welcomed me (a total stranger with a big black thing in her hands pointing it right in his face)…

my sophie is in the 3-year olds class at a great pre-school here in greensboro, alison (together with mrs rosemary) is her teacher and i’m SO HAPPY i take my little girl every morning and leave her in this woman’s hands, she is wonderful, she is one of those women every girl would want to be friends with, ALWAYS with a great smile, always with something nice to say, has a great, positive vibe (plus she is beautiful and effortlessly stylish), so when she asked me to photograph her family i was beyond thrilled. i have to say that working with them was a treat and a pleasure.

…and she is so precious and such a fun kid to work with and to be around and i can’t believe time has passed so fast.  if you know me, you know i love this girl, she  has literally grown in from of my lens, what can i do ;-). this time we did a beach session and we had a blast, but i do not want to type too much becuase stephanie has been waiting for this way too long.

one of my favorite things in my business is seeing, through my camera, kids growing up (usually so fast!). Here is what i mean, i couldn’t believe it when i stepped in the house, that this little baby is now this handsome boy, he is such a card, a lovely boy, and without a doubt a very special part of the family.

Once again it was a pleasure to photograph the simmons, this time i got to meet carlos, who wasn’t  around on my past visits, he is a very kind, down-to-earth (and handsome) guy, nice meeting you carlos, hope you like your pictures, later you’ll see the one with your new car. for now here are some of my favorites from that afternoon. enjoy them!

this is a post that has been waiting on my desk for a long time (long, long time), between summer outings, sessions, retouching, 2 kids under 4 and no summer camps i just didn’t have much time to devote to it.  then came school, kids b-day parties, halloween, vacation, new sessions and more new sessions (thank god), this post remained on my to-do list for my complete attention. i want to apologize to all of the great people we had the pleasure to meet in that event for waiting so patiently for this post, especially to our gracious hosts!

i have to explain to those of you that follow my blog that mick and i were invited by this great guy named allyn and his beautiful and very kind girl helyn, last april to be part of a 3 day derby event in kentucky. it was such a great experience, from the moment we arrived to the moment we said good-bye.  it was one of those magical times when the people you met, the environment you were in, and the experience itself becomes a lasting memory!

the rossatos, there is an endless list of the good things i can say about them, but i will make it short because i know they are anxious to see this sneak peek of their session…

they are TERRIFIC neighbors

they make beautiful kids (at least we have the proof of one)

they make great “asados”

they have a great sense of humor.

one of them have a mother we want to steal.

they all wear TOMS.

they, like us, are a bicultural family.

they beat us in corn-whole.

we beat them in getting the trash out on Sunday nights

we all hope argentina wins the next world cup.

they are our dear friends.

i know you all will agree with me, this little girl is just pure beauty, she looks like an antique doll (isn’t she?), her name is lauren and she is in the same class with sophie. photographing her was so delightful but  picking the final images was hard because she looks SO cute on almost every shot…. soon, lauren is going to have a baby brother and mommy wanted to capture this special time with her before their new baby arrives…
